For some odd reason Unicode only has a combining diacritical mark for this
symbol; it isn't included in the spacing modifier letters. The IPA handbook
and the Unicode Standard book both agree that U+031A is the correct Unicode
equivalent for the IPA "no audible release" character. So it looks like
we're stuck with it.
