Oh, forgot the 'nearby cities/towns':
Ballarat (or, if you're in Ballarat, Ballarrat): ["b&_rl@r\&_rt_}]
Bendigo: ["bEndIg8u]
Dandenong: [d&_r:ndinQN]; [d&_rndi]
Geelong: [dZ@"lQN]; [dZ@_0"lQN]; ["dZlQN]
Warragul: ["wQr\@g@5]
(But the whole Aussie idea of city versus town is rather different from
others', I think: I wouldn't say there were more than eight cities in Oz
(Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Darwin, Perth, Hobart, Adelaide, Sydney).
The above were all 'urban centres' (except Dandenong, which is only
included for historical reasons; it's since merged into Melbourne), I
think, given a town can often consist of nothing more than a general
store and an antique shop, and even that's a thriving metropolis.)
