Not in Dutch; it has no [T]. We say ['drEnt@] and some people (not me) spell it without the "h".

Overijssel (though the single-s spelling is permitted).

Are you sure there's "aa" in both syllables? "Graafschap" ['xrafsxAp] means "county".

Very, very remote, probably. Some of my ancestors' brothers may have emigrated in the 17th to 19th centuries, but I don't know of them (not that *that* side of the family has ever done much genealogy).
