In Vakaman:
1 ainas
2 dova
3 tris
4 chetvares
5 pinche
6 ses
7 septum
8 atho
9 nevun
10 desum
I have been reading through _The World's Writing System_ when I
discovered that I could devise an interesting abugida for Vakaman from
Kharosthi. The order of words follows Indian order:
a ka kha ga gha cha ja ta tha da dha na pa fa ba va ma ya ra la sa ha
Vakaman pronounces aspirated consonants as fricatives. (This probably
wouldn't happen if Vakaman was a primary-world language, but it is
intented as an artlang, so I can play!) Vowels other than |a| are
written as diacritics, as is the zero vowel. A syllable-final nasal
can be written as a stroke under the letter. Visarga |:| is used to
indicate -s before a pause. The order is left to right, which is
reverse order to Kharosthi. Consonant clusters are written vertically.
I haven't attempted any large texts yet, but I'm finding it interesting
to write.
