Oh! And I read an article in Sweden's largest newspaper
this morning about Tolkien's languages. The journalist
seemed to think that "Quenia" [sic!] was inspired by
Celtic languages, as opposed to "Elvish" (apparently
Sindarin) which was inspired by Finnish. Then she talks
about a third language, called "Tengwar" used in LotR.

Brace yourself, there's a *lot* more of that coming. Just the other day I saw a
low-budget video documentary in my local video store on the making of the first
movie. The cover art for the video featured a large golden ring, inscribed
inside out with... Greek letters. Not Tengwar, Greek.
*Sigh* A Tolkien geek's life is hard.
