Different world, different "universals"? :-) I don't feel comfortable enough with ergativity to try it yet...OTOH I wonder if I'd be more comfortable with it if I messed around it in an experimentlang.

Hmph--"disgusting" my foot! I think it's wonderful that you have so much "data" to use in your conlanging. It's a great contrast between the world Czevraqis is devised for, which is quite detailed about one nation, rather detailed about another, and horrendously vague on the rest of the continent, let alone the world. Kudos to you for all your hard work--and surely the rest will come in time? YHL
