Ok, but what if cyrillic was being used for Vietnamese? You WOULD have to modify it somehow to make it show tones, etc. Also, any script that is not being used with the language it was meant for has to be modified somehow. Arabic has been modified to fit languages that arent even semitic (Such as Urdu).
