In Lojban these are spatial *tenses*, specificially spatial directions.
There are only two temporal directions, pastward and futureward, but
there are about 25 spatial directions (up down left right back front
north south east west into out:of orbiting tangential:to etc. etc.).
Lojban also has spatial aspects: for example, "England begins to
the east of me" is a spatial inchoative, parallel to "The 22nd century
begins to the futureward of me."
