First: artlang vs. auxlang distinction is pointless. My main projects
(besides hundreds of YANCs) are:
Chleweyish (fonno chleweye): a personal language. No conculture,
not aimed as auxiliary language.
NGL (tokcir): a groupal language aimed to expresivity. No
conculture, not aimed as auxiliary languages, but could be an auxlang
contendent if someone proposes it.
Protoandinean: a con-reconstructed-protolanguage in a concultural
setting. Not aimed as auxiliary language.
Hangkerimce: a concultural language. Not aimed as auxiliary
language.
Some projects for other people in the list are:
Lojban: a logical language. No conculture, not aimed as auxiliary
language, but proposed as auxlang and discused on auxlang-L also.
Ekspreso: a conAIL, created by a list member (and a romance conAIL).
If it is a serious contender in the auxlang arena I doubt it, and I
guess that if Jay Bowks realy care on the auxlang movement he will
drop his proposal for any viable language. No conculture. But, what
the heck, as Jay some day said, everione of us should attempt to
designe an auxlang just for the fun of it.
Tunu: originally a hoax auxlang, which then became a conculture
related language.
I wonder: how many conlangs here are not conculture related. How many
are not even art-motivated (all those YANCs experimenting with a new
theory)... even if they are not auxlangs.
Having said this, I will advocate for Chleweyish, I will advocate for
NGL, and I will second any advocacy for Lojban and Ekspreso. And I
personally believe that if Quenya is in, so Esperanto must be in also.
But, what ever the final decision are: I want a conlang T-shirt this
time.
