Peter and I are discussing retroflex and non-retroflex approximant R in
American English. In my dialect, it's non-retroflex. This is apparently an
unusual sound, so I'm making a recording of it and sending it to him. If
anyone else wants to join in our conversation, we're taking it off list so
as not to clog up the group with English-pronunciation.
