Boudewijn, and yes, I could do it myself, but I don't have the
hacker's mentality: I'm just too lazy to spend time and effort
finding out something I might conceivably need at some indefinite
time in the future. Anyway, I have worked with modified keyboard
layouts, and forgotten to use my shiny new special keys every time.

Also, I don't use a lot of accented letters: I worked out the
transcription of Ilaini when I was still using a mechanical
typewriter.
