too: salade russe). And then I discovered what the Dutch call "salade" (which
has nothing to do with the green stuff we in France call "salade". In Dutch
that stuff is called "sla" :)) ), and now I'm wondering if the Russian salade
was not created in the Netherlands :))) (they have there hundreds of different
kinds of "salade" which are made along the same principles as the Russian
salade).
