The Real World manages with Romanian and Romance, and with Ladin, Latin,
and Ladino (to say nothing of Slovene and Slovak).  I don't see that we
have a problem.  It's useful to remember the rule that Romance languages
don't tend to be called "Roman" or "Latin" unless they are surrounded
by non-Romance languages.
