MusicMatch Jukebox 4.0 is available in a free version that does "near-CD quality" conversion (22 kHz sample rate) from .WAV to .MP3 files. The commercial version does CD-quality conversion. http://www.musicmatch.com/jukebox/ =46or other formats (.AU, .AIFF, and a few other rarely used formats), = get Cool Edit from Syntrillium (as the name implies, it's a really cool sound editor), which is also what I use for sound effects like pitch changes, filtering, reverb, etc. http://www.syntrillium.com/cooledit/index.html -- languages of Kolagia---> = +---<http://www.io.com/~hmiller/languages.html>--- Thryomanes /"If all Printers were determin'd not to print = any (Herman Miller) / thing till they were sure it would offend no = body, moc.oi @ rellimh <-/ there would be very little printed." -Ben = Franklin
