(My apologies to those who get this twice)
Disclaimer: IANAL
This is a, for me, very important mail. As some of you knows already,
GeoCities has been bought by Yahoo, and GeoCities owns webring.org,
which hosts the conlang webring, Scattered Tongues.
See:

Why should you care:
1. If your site is hosted by geocities, which is the case for many of the
sites in the ring, everything new that you upload now will automatically
be owned by Yahoo. They may do whatever they please with the stuff -you-
have made.
2. I still do not know what this will mean to webring.org, but I smell a baad
trend here, so I've started coding a replacement system. Which means that
everyone on the ring will eventually have to replace at least parts of their
code-fragment, I apologize for this but I JUST CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!
(Ouch, heartburn, gotta cool down here)
So, will those of you who care do me a teensy little favor (apart from dump-
ing your yahoo-stocks :) )? Mail ME, not the list, with your comments (remem-
ber if the list-quota is filled, it will stop completely as David is on vaca-
tion). Those who know how, can you tell me how many hops you are away from
www.webring.org, as well as www.nvg.org, and tell me how many seconds it takes
you to load the latter in your browser?
There... (breathes out) feeling better now.
