Dunno what you need. E.g. you get new fodder for Latin/Greek/Cyrillic
based orthographies/'roman'isations. Even some new combining marks.
And, of course, U+1E9E LATIN CAPITAL LETTER SHARP S.

You could write Conlangs with domino or mahjong tiles or
draughts/checkers symbols now. :-)
