Not really - 2000's enough of a reason to celebrate without making it "the Millenium" - in fact, by making it "The Millennium", you're missing out on the big celebration for 2001 - in other words, by going by the proper 2001-as-new-millennium, you can have a big celebration for 2000 (Y2K, "the Future", three zeroes) AND for 2001 (the new Millennium)! Besides, it just doesn't feel right calling the 1999th year the last year of the century, when 20 centuries, and 2 millennia, are two thousand years. -- Today is: 10 Watikala'f Wakabi'f watya'nifaf plas 272 809, September 13
