The inventory for Shaquelingua:

[a] = [A]
[e] = [e_O] (final) or [j] (if vowel+[e])
[o] = [o_O] (if [o]+vowel) or [w] (if vowel+[o])
[O] = [O_O] (final)
[9] = [2_O] (first or second syllable) or [6] (final) or [H] (if vowel+[9])
[C] = [S] Mispronunciation!
[4] = [l] (initial) or [5] (final)
[b] = [b_0] These consonants can be devoiced at the beginning
[d] = [d_0] of a word and they will be when they are the coda
[g] = [g_0] of the last syllable.
[v] = [v_0] Devoiced at the end
[z] = [z_0] of a word.
[k] = [k_h] Aspirated most of the time
[p] = [p_h] and always so at the end
[t] = [t_h] of a word.
[k] = [k_v] Voiced when they are the second consonant
[t] = [t_v] of a cluster.
[C] = [C:] Always pronounced long or
[f] = [f:] aspirated when they are
[x] = [x:] the coda of the last
[s] = [s:] syllable.

None of these. It's for the ease of pronunciation and to try to reflect my
very own pronunciation.

The only motivation I had when I chose the sounds of Shaquelingua was to
please my ears and my mouth, i.e. to have sounds that I like and that I can
pronounce easily.
