Why not a superscript 'n' for that? Superscripts and subscripts are quite easy to make.

Moreover, it makes monstruous webpages, trust me :) . I can teach you the basics of HTML, at least enough to do simple pages like mine. It's quite easy in fact. But if I have to do it by e-mail, we have to be sure that your mail program doesn't translate HTML :)) . Or you can look on Internet. There are plenty of pages about learning HTML.

True, but then you cannot do hypertext, links and the like, IIRC. The whole point of Internet is that you can navigate easily. If you have to download a PDF file each time you move from one chapter to another, it's gonna be awful. No, I think you should take the time to learn HTML (it took me one hour to learn enough HTML to begin making my webpage, so you see how easy it is). As for transcription, remember that HTML allows also subscripts and superscripts. It can help a lot.

At least, learning HTML is free, and having wordpad, emacs or even notepad or vi is largely enough! I can help you if you need it. Still, I think developing the page in HTML will be as fast as buying Acrobat and converting the files.

OK. But still think of it. PDF is not a very user-friendly format for Internet surfing. PDF files optionally accessible for people who want a complete version of the grammar to print down is a very good idea. Having only PDF files is not nice in my opinion.
