There is something similar in Sikwuri -- a (constructed)^2 language:
- labials and labiovelars can be followed only by back vowels;
- coronals can be followed only by front vowels and
- gutturals -- only by a central vowel, that is [a].
IIRC, that is a dur/moll rule.
