When I read that, I thought I remembered that there was at least a
derivational affix that would be unstressed long, but apparently,
either there is indeed none, or I simply cannot come up with it now.
The only ones I find now have secondary stress (like -los /,lo:s/
'-less'). And when the affix has stress like un- /'?Un/
'un-/in-/im-/il-/ir-', then the stem has secondary stress. Hmm, I was
*really* sure I had found some once.
Anyway, if there was one, it would be an exception to the general
rule...

Yes, definitely unstressed. E.g. _Krokodil_ /,kro:ko:'di:l/.
(well, I have /,krOko:'di:l/, but anyway).
