Well, as for vowels the ol' /i a u/ has something going for it! :-) Proto-Sohlob (aka Kidjeb) actually has that system. Sohlob itself has /i 1 u/ {i e u} /e a o/ {ae a o} which I find beautiful, especially as it is in Sohlob combined with vowel height harmony (i.e. all vowels of a word are either all high or all low). As for consonants I don't know. /BP 8^)> -- B.Philip Jonsson mailto:melrochX@melroch.net (delete X) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~__ A h-ammen ledin i phith! \ \ __ ____ ____ _____________ ____ __ __ __ / / \ \/___ \\__ \ /___ _____/\ \\__ \\ \ \ \\ \ / / / / / / / \ / /Melroch\ \_/ // / / // / / / / /___/ /_ / /\ \ / /Melarokko\_ // /__/ // /__/ / /_________//_/ \_\/ /Eowine __ / / \___/\_\\___/\_\ Gwaedhvenn Angeliniel\ \______/ /a/ /_h-adar Merthol naun ~~~~~~~~~Kuinondil~~~\________/~~\__/~~~Noolendur~~~~~~ || Lenda lenda pellalenda pellatellenda kuivie aiya! || "A coincidence, as we say in Middle-Earth" (JRR Tolkien)
