Tibetan has the distinction of being a quite simple, admirably clear language
(compared to, say, Sanskrit) - but most of the texts I tried are almost
incomprehensibly complex or alien. And since there are excellent and
affordable introductory texts - both in English and German, I'd say, go
for it!
