Italian original:

Il poeta di corte

È venuto il corvo di mare
a predirmi la sorte:
"Tempo tu non avrai di fuggire...
Ti raggiungono già!

strapperanno i tuoi occhi,
bruceranno il tuo cuore!
tempo tu non avrai di fuggire,
ti raggiungono già!"

Io non ho paura di dovere morire
e tu vecchio corvo
i suoi occhi strapperai.

English translation:

The Court Poet
The Searaven hath come
To foretell my Lot:
"Thou wilt not have Time to escape...
They are coming to catch thee!

They will pull away thine Eyes,
They will burn thy Heart!
Thou wilt not escape...
They are coming to catch thee!"

I am not afraid of Death,
And thou, old Raven,
Wilt pull away his Eyes
I am not afraid, I have sung for so long,
And his false Heart will burn as mine!

The Crab hath come,
He shall wait by his Mouth
To steal his soul
In his last Breath

And my Lord doth not know:
Even if the Vulture eats my Body,
It will not be enough
To make my Heart forever be silent
