Whoever said this was designed to be logical? I merely pass on the
information as I receive it, and my contact says there is no singular
indefinite article. I suppose some people say 'one' cat hen they need to be
specific, but they could just as easily say 'two' in such constructions, and
it remaihns a number, not an article.
