In Senyecan virtually all the consonants can be palatalized or labialized. My word processing program is Wordperfect5 (I know, I know!!). I wanted to used a cedilla for palatalization (or an apostrophe on top if a descender made the cedilla impossible) and a breve or hachek over or under for labialization. I could print these but I could not see them on the screen, so I finally resorted to digraphs, although I don't like them. I now use ï for palatalization and ö for labialization. Someday, when I have my own publishing house, or a more advanced computer program, I will return to diacritics. By the way, did you know that there is a dotless "j" also? You might like the looks of that. Charlie
