Neet, someone else who likes Tagalog. I abolutely adore it too, even
though i've forgotten almost all of it. I just think it has a nice mix of
sounds, not too soft, not too hard. And the varying stress on a lot of
words gives it livelyness.

I really wish my school had a Tagalog program. Although, i have to cut it
some slack, it's only 6 years old (though such a program is an eventual
reality). I did take a summer long intensive course through the Monterey
Institute of International Studies, which was very good.
