Then you didn't see all the job propositions I read having "secretaresse (m/v)" in the description (and I've heard various men describing themselves as "secretaresse" (and they weren't gay!)). For non-Dutch-speaking people, (m/v) means "(man/vrouw)": (man/woman). It's a simple way to say that sex is irrelevant in the job proposal.
