Even that's not open and shut. Postings in Wenedyk, for example,
can't reasonably be in ASCII or even Latin-1; they require at minimum
Latin-2 or CP 1250 (which are not compatible), and I'd rather have
UTF-8 than either.
It's sensible to use X-SAMPA or a relative for pure IPA, but if your
conlang's conventional orthography requires more, by all means use it.
