VSO? I take it Zitwaba has a "regular" sentencee order that is
different?
In Kerno, the so called "Old Standard" was SOV in declarative
sentences. Certain structures, like any use of the preposition
"do" or instrumental case structures changed the order to OVS.
The usual "Modern Standard" follows the ordinary spoken language,
whose order is VSO.
I don't have much in the way of information on poetry. One poetic
form contains lines of only nouns, the variations in case being
what makes it poetic (kind of like a rhyme scheme, but using
grammatical variation rather than sound similarity).

(had its head / the Earth / in fire)
