The _wording_ didn't sound sarcastic, but the raw semantic meaning did.
Why else would someone claim an intention to study my outline and use
it as a model - a claim that makes no sense at all taken literally?
Hence I received mixed messages.

Remembering the thread in which we talked about all these things
(asperger's, BPD, mental illness in general):
Not long ago my favourite science show, Quantum, ran a story on the
discoveries and research of Jack Pettigew concerning BPD and brain
switching. The archive of the story is at

I was fascinated by this, and emailed Jack with a bunch of questions.
I mentioned that I have asperger's. To this he replied,
} I have a hunch that Aspergers have slow switches...only a couple of
