Don't forget that some Islamic societies (for instance in Morocco) are
absolutely not anti-gay. Having (male) gay relationships in Morocco is
considered absolutely normal, especially for teenagers and young adults, as long
as you also get married and get children. The only thing is that it's something
most Moroccans will never admit to foreigners...
Well, it's still far from a real acceptance, but it's not as anti-gay as first
described. On the other hand, Islamic societies are extremely anti-lesbian, but
that's only part of the general bias against women...
