Of course, but that's not the point, since etiquette is a pan-European
thing. Its rules are the same in France, Spain, Netherlands or Italy for
instance. So saying that using fork and spoon to eat spaghetti in Italy is
peasant-style is like saying that French people don't eat bread at every
meal. It's not a matter of culture difference: it's just incorrect, and a
mark that the person who said that to Roger was pretty uninformed.
