I have the following words pertaining to music, so far, in Senjecas.
It's an odd assortment, but I add words to the vocabulary as I think
of them: "Now what would that be in Senjecas." The majority of ideas
in Senjecas are based on verbs so, when applicable, the verb is give
first, then its derivatives.
foola: to fall, descend.
kan-a: to chant; -os, chant; -us, chanter.
kurt-a: to play a harp; -os, harp; -us, harpist.
meelts-a: to beat; -os, beat.
meb-a: to dance; -os, dance; -us, dancer.
mehj-a: to enlarge; -is, major.
minw-a: to diminish; -is, minor.
ned-a: to play the syrinx; -os, reed, syrinx.
senhl-a: to sing; -os, song; -us, singer.
swen-a: to sound, play (an instrument); -retsa, to tune ("sound
regulate"); -retsos, tune; -tsihmos, timbre (sound color); -
vererdhas, pitch (sound height).
tsam-os: horn (of an ungulate), bugle; -dzeenos, bugle call.
tsuts-a: to whirl around, play a drum roll; -os, drum roll.
tswej-a: to blow a whistle, play the pipes; -makos, bagpipes; -os,
whistle, pipes; -oqlos, flute; -oqlaagus, flutist (I do miss the word
flautist); -senhlus, one who sings to the flute.
taaka: fix, plant, compose (music).
tentos: chord.
tor-a: to louden; -is, forte.
vend-a: to tie, bind; -ëdzeenos, legato sign.
