I have the following words pertaining to music, so far, in Senjecas. It's an odd assortment, but I add words to the vocabulary as I think of them: "Now what would that be in Senjecas." The majority of ideas in Senjecas are based on verbs so, when applicable, the verb is give first, then its derivatives. foola: to fall, descend. kan-a: to chant; -os, chant; -us, chanter. kurt-a: to play a harp; -os, harp; -us, harpist. meelts-a: to beat; -os, beat. meb-a: to dance; -os, dance; -us, dancer. mehj-a: to enlarge; -is, major. minw-a: to diminish; -is, minor. ned-a: to play the syrinx; -os, reed, syrinx. senhl-a: to sing; -os, song; -us, singer. swen-a: to sound, play (an instrument); -retsa, to tune ("sound regulate"); -retsos, tune; -tsihmos, timbre (sound color); - vererdhas, pitch (sound height). tsam-os: horn (of an ungulate), bugle; -dzeenos, bugle call. tsuts-a: to whirl around, play a drum roll; -os, drum roll. tswej-a: to blow a whistle, play the pipes; -makos, bagpipes; -os, whistle, pipes; -oqlos, flute; -oqlaagus, flutist (I do miss the word flautist); -senhlus, one who sings to the flute. taaka: fix, plant, compose (music). tentos: chord. tor-a: to louden; -is, forte. vend-a: to tie, bind; -ëdzeenos, legato sign.
