becoming further embroiled in that discussion would make the thread very....

I think, regardless of how it's inflated extent came about, the zone is
maintained primarily for econo-commercial reasons - it makes sense to do so.
It's a pity the UK doesn't shift over to CE(S)T as well - it would
certainly make my job easier.
You wouldn't hear me complaining come December about it getting dark at 1645
instead of 1545 either!
