The skeleton pages I have up have a black background with one of those left
side bar backgrounds and then the writing shifted over with the blockquote
command.... then the writing is white with the links and headings matching
the background. I don't like not to have background, but having all over
patterns makes it hard to read, so basically there's an image down the side
and then a white on black text area. Seemed like the best way to compromise,
given my limited HTML abilities.
