Someone claimed that the Jews were trying to convert the arabs to judaism
when Muhammed began his carrieer.
The text continued "but since the local jews didn't considered Muhammed to
be of any political importance, they didn't focus on trying to converting
him".
(this sounds a bit wierd though - judaism isn't exactly known for trying to
spread the faith. Are there judaistic sects that try to convert
non-judaists? I assume no one is counting islam and christianity as
judaistic sects.)
The possible conculture of a jewish Arabia and a christian Europe would be
interesting.
