Most gay men where i live (myself included) use "Bar troll" to mean
"unattractive old man who won't take no for an answer". Their habits
usually include:
- Bad dancing to modern dance music
- Groping of young men, because "hey, what have i got to lose?"
- Sitting at the bar itself, usually alone, staring at the younger guys.
A bar troll graduates to "sugar daddy" when he has lots of money, either
won, earned, or inherited :). Money is synonymous with "pheromone" to
young, twink-like gay men who really want the finer things in life, and
they come running to the "sugar daddies" like flies to shit.
