Get a keyboard editor, like Tavultesoft Keyman Developer, then you can use
any Unicode-enabled word processing software. The OpenOffice.org word
processor works fine, and best of all it's free. I've had trouble with
newer versions of Microsoft Word, and I've gone back to Word 2000.
