Semitic rhotic questions

In working on Carrajena I have borrowed a good many
actual Punic words as substrate and a good many more
biblical Hebrew words (sometimes with minor changes)
as substitutes for Punic words I couldn't find.  One
of the major adstrate languages is Arabic.  So there
are quite a few Semitic words in C-a.

Recently I have been redesigning my dictionary to give
more information and a cleaner look.  As I've been
entering etymologies on my words I've realized that I
just took for granted that Semitic "r" equaled C-a "r"
rather than C-a "rr", but I have no basis for that
assumption.  So now I have a few questions about
rhotics in Semitlangs.

1. Does anyone know with any acceptable degree of
certainty what the actual value of the Biblical Hebrew
rhotic was?

2. Is that value (if it is "known") considered
consistant with other Semitic langs (eg. Phonecian) of
that branch?

3. What is the value of the rhotic in Classical
Arabic?

4. What is the value in the major modernd dialects,
especially those of North Africa, Egyptian, Dardja and
Moroccan?

Okay only one more question and then I'll go back to
my corner.  Is anyone here competent in liturgical
Syriac?
