It depends how you want to do it, and which names you want to translate: you can
simply adapt the sounds of a name to the phonology of your conlang: thus my
language Omeina (which has no "sh" sound) would 'hear' Mischa as probably
'Mista' or 'Missa'. Alternatively, you can find out the original meaning of
your name and do what's called a calque - that is, translate each part's
meaning into the conlang. My name (Michael) is Hebrew for 'Godlike' - there any
resemblance ends, I'm afraid - so you would translate this term into your
conlang. Real-world langs tend to opt for the first type, witness Jean, Johann,
John, Ivan, Sion, Sean, Janos...
