I also thought it was "prendre temps" at first, but then I looked it up
in my French dictionary, which says:
| DAUERN /ˈdɑ͡ʊɐn/ vi 1 (andauern) durer | 2 (Zeit benötigen)
| "Es dauerte lange, bis er den Weg gefunden hatte." Il a
| mis longtemps à trouver le chemin -> das dauert und
| dauert! (fam) que c'est long!
So I thought it's "mettre temps" for reasons incomprehensible.
