Oh, I have. But it must be tricky trying to give subtitles (where necessarily the space is restricted) which convey humour correctly. On my third night in Norway I found myself watching M*A*S*H with subtitles. (That was in Førde, the town now made famous by the notorious cheese thief... but that's another story.) But no, the translators clearly knew nothing of Scrabble. In the original, Arthur plays EXQUI next to SITE. "On a triple word score. Scores rather a lot I'm afraid." In _Restauranten der Universet slutter_, he plays FORTRE next to FFELIG. Grrrrrrrr. "Ffelig" isn't even in my Welsh dictionary, let alone in Norwegian. :) James ========================================================================= james@zolid.com James Campbell Zeugma--Our Life Is Design www.zolid.com Sponsored by zolid.com -- for all your household blithery requirements =========================================================================
