Now, I'm not saying I believe that, of course, but that's just how I've
heard it expressed by anti-homosexuality people.

At any rate, I don't think people are "born" straight or gay.  Infants
don't have sexual orientation!  I have no idea what causes orientation.
Maybe it's genetic, maybe it's something in the womb, maybe it's some
subtle factors in childhood, maybe it's a combination of all of the
above, I really have no idea.
