This makes it a lot easier for automatic parsing.
BTW your system is hardly a revision of X-SAMPA,
but rather an independent system. I suggest
calling it "Trebor Jung Phonetic Alphabet" -- JPA.
Unfortuinately TIPA is already taken by
"TeX IPA".
The idea of a ASCII phonetic notation that takes
into account the needs of the sight-impaired is
IMHO worth encouraging, but why don't you use e.g.
_m_ and _n_ with their traditional values?
