There isn't.  <G>  Partly because I don't know many who know about us, and
to most we're geeks.  Marina Yaguello, however, heh heh, in her book on the
lunatics, with some gaiety and mean-spiritedness, characterizes the typical
_fou du langage_ as "often a man from Central Europe, born in a country
divided and torn apart by history: many inventors from the turn of this
century came from the Russian or the Austro-Hungarian Empires.  Mostly, he
is a man of the church, a teacher or a doctor, in other words precisely a
study-dweller, a man with a pointed BEARD [my emphasis] and gold-rimmed
spectacles as he appears in the portrait gallery which graces
Monnerot-Dumaine's book, one of the two 'bibles' of interlinguistics."  This
last term she explains is another word for the art of inventing

creates a language for international communication, it is to reconcile
mankind."  Now I agree with her here.  I just resent the physical
stereotype.
