<< Bluish, or the Bluetongue (vlOk'Zik), is the language spoken in the
surreal Blueland (vlOk'grap), where blue is a sacred colour, the colour of
the sea and sky. Bluish is abstract art. The inspiration comes from
various sources, but mainly Thai, Cantonese, Tagalog, and Klingon. You can
see the influence of Thai in the selection of initial consonant clusters.
You can see the influence of Cantonese in the selection of final
consonants. You can see the influence of Tagalog in the "focus"
or "trigger" system of grammar. You can see the influence of Klingon in
the use of uppercase and lowercase letters to differentiate phonemes and
in the agglutinative nature of the grammar. It is all for "serious fun" as
I always like to put it... >>
