Hi,

This thread seems to be a record holder in terms of size. In case you
haven't guessed, my cup^H^H^Hinbox overfloweth. I currently have 45
languages logged in part or in whole, and rising. Going through these
contributions is taking an incredible amount of time, not helped by my
finally getting some regular employment. In view of this,

If you language requires an unusual font, please send me a gif file with =
the
phrase on it. I do not have time to locate the font on the web, unzip it,
install it, type out the phrase, cut and paste it into a graphics program=
,
and save it as a graphic file. And thast before I even think about the
final layout. Please do not send the font file or a pointer to the font o=
n
the web. An alternative is to send it in the form of an attached unicode
plain text file generated by Unipad <www.sharmahd.com> or a similar produ=
ct.

If you reply to this, please snip appropriately.

---

If you want a T-shirt, please Email me the following info:

quantity
geographic location
preference (white on black, or black on white)
size preference.

Note that I am not currently taking orders, this is to get an idea of
production run size. Also, note that I make no guarantees about the final
colour scheme, as it may depend on prodction requirements. Having said th=
at,
I expect the price to be around GBP 7.5-10 (depending on whether it is
printed on both sides or not), plus shipping. Oh, and in my dialect of
English, T-shirt does mean short sleeves :) Also, only the text itself wi=
ll
appear - teh language names will not be on the T-shirt.

---

Jeffrey Henning,

Thanks. I will take you up on that offer of a short url for the T-shirt.
<http://www.langmaker.com/t.htm> would be good. I will send more details =
to
you privately once I have some semblance of a web page ready. It will
probably end up being in teh form of a redirecting url to my own page.

---

Boudewijn,

I know you are working on that Latin-3 compatible Comic Sans font. I can'=
t
wait to see how it turns out (o_-)

---

Dan Sulani,

Can you give that Hebrew version, either as a graphic, or by naming the
glyphs as represented in the unicode registry? Alternatively, can you sen=
d
it to me as an attachment in unicode text? <www.sharmahd.com> has such a
text editor if you need one.

---

Which languages?

My main criteria for which langs to appear are:

1) any conlanger who has posted here will be on, space permitting
2) any real language that has served as a major world interlingua
3) any real language with an interesting script
4) conlangs that have achieved fame and/or notoriety
5) Any real language that can claim a diverse heritage (a cop out that
allows me to include Maltese)
