In Jitihk Zoshe'n-don (for which I'll be posting the URL Real Soon Now):
(e' is e with an acute accent)
hke'jitihkw hlwbe't fe'wok hke'hlyhsws
hke'-jitihk -w hlwb-e't fe'wok hke'-hlyhsws
FUT -language-2P here-PLACE path FUT -follow
Your language will follow this path.
It's a somewhat metaphorical translation, but Jitihk Zohse'n-don is a
somewhat metaphorical language. If you want a more literal one, let me
know.
The Future inflection on jitihk (language) indicates the tense of the noun
itself and is not merely agreeing with the verb, so the future (and thus
presumably hypothetical) nature of the language is emphasized. This is
part of why I simply put the future of hlyhsws, rather than using an
auxiliary like 'could.' (The other part is that I don't have an auxiliary
system yet. :))
I will try to come up with a gif soon.
