Don't know how in touch you are to the gaming world but its no longer AD&D its
just D&D.  the 3rd edition has utterly changed the game.  Its a far more enjoyable
and easy game system and with the open game license anyone can create settings and
stuff and publish it.  And after 20 years of gaming I like that idea.

A couple of other places you should try for online gaming at least is WebRPG
(http://www.webrpg.com/) and RPGRealms(http://www.rpgrealms.com/).  They are both
software that lets you play online just like you were sitting at a table.  They
also have notices for people looking for gamers.
